Faux Mercury Pendant Light

October 11, 2012 By powerofpaint 5 Comments

Welcome Paint Lovers…

Tricia @ Simplicity in the South submitted her gorgeous faux mercury light.

Power of Paint

She used Krylon’s Looking Glass Spray to transform the light over her kitchen sink into a faux mercury pendant light.  I LOVE how to turned out… might have to make one for myself.

As always you can click on the photos to get all the juicy details.

Don’t forget… you too can submit your paint projects. Just click the “Submit Your Paint Project” in the menu bar and fill out the form.

Have a great day with a splash of paint!

The funniest thing…I was just outside spray painting some things for a spray paint link party for tomorrow. While I was painting, the name of your blog crossed my mind. I come inside to check my blog feed, and there I am! Thanks so much for featuring my pendant light!

this is so cool…can I ask though – was the original pendant a clear glass or will this work on a frosted glass as well? Have been thinking about changing out my globes – this might just be a cheaper solution! LOVE IT!

Hi Cheryl ~ If you click on the photo you can read the whole post on how she did it. It was a clear glass but it did have a coating on the interior.
