Union Jack Toy Box

Don’t you love union jack?  I love seeing paint transformations with the union jack.

Union Jack Toy Box from Nicer Than New

Nicer Than New a toy chest that needed an update.  She was inspired by a Union Jack pillow in her living room and found out she loves everything British. She used latex paint she had on hand. And I love the casters she added to it!

The inside back of hutch she covered with faux beadboard wallpaper and painted with off-white latex paint.  Beautifully done!

Creating a Heirloom

Welcome Paint Lovers..

Christine @ Decorum DIYer submitted her cute cradle.

Power of Paint

She used leftover interior latex semi-gloss paint from her daughter’s room makeover.  She spruced up a hum-drum wooden doll cradle to create an heirloom for my daughter and her dollies.  So cute!

What a Difference Some Legs Make

Welcome Paint Lovers…

Jourdan @ Little Yellow Barn submitted her gorgeous dresser.

Power of Paint

By adding new legs and a new skirt to a desperate dresser she was able to turn a busted hunk of alder into a traditional beauty. She used an off-white latex for the body and a coat of Watco to protect the graphic applied to each of the drawer faces.  You really have to see the before… it’s an amazing transformation!
