Paris Side Table

Welcome Paint Lovers…

Denise @ Spittin Toad submitted her sweet Paris side table.

plaster or paris, blue, paris, side, table

She painted it with homemade chalk paint by adding plaster of Paris to a lovely blue-green paint.  She distressed it so the black paint underneath showed through in places and then decoupaged the top with Paris fabric she purchased on Etsy. Very cute!

Morning Room and A Little Birdie

Welcome Paint Lovers…

Helen @ A Brit of Happiness submitted her morning room makeover.

PoP A Brit of Happiness

To create their gorgeous striped effect they painted the wall Quietude by Sherwin Williams. When the paint was dry, they taped off the stripes and then rolled minwax poly acrylic clear semigloss on top.

Kelly @ Gasp Studio submitted her table makeover.

She used a regular white latex satin paint, decoupaged the bird on top, distressed it and sealed it with a polyacrylic sealer. She also used a little brown shoe polish and brown wax to give it some discoloration for an aged look.
